YUCA ROOT
Yuca, or cassava, is a starchy root vegetable widely consumed in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. It has a thick, brown skin and a dense white interior. When cooked, yuca becomes tender and slightly sweet, perfect for boiling, frying, or making into flour (tapioca). Rich in carbohydrates and naturally gluten-free, yuca is an important source of energy and is often used in chips, stews, and baked goods.
