MALANGA EDDO
Malanga Eddo, sometimes referred to simply as "Eddoe," is a smaller variety of malanga with a firmer texture and a mildly nutty, earthy flavor. It has a brown, hairy skin and creamy white or light purple flesh inside.
Eddo is rich in dietary fiber, potassium, and resistant starch, which supports digestive health. It is commonly used in Caribbean and Asian cuisines, either boiled, roasted, or mashed. Its firm texture holds up well in soups and stews, providing heartiness and depth of flavor.
